In the early 2000s, the company began a modernization project with the installation of the first ROBOTS for plant servicing, reaching the point of currently having all the plants automated and robotized. The project continues with the gradual replacement of all the presses with Buehler presses, universally recognized as the best in the die-casting press sector. The same strategy is also implemented for the melting furnaces, measuring machines, the x-ray machine, sandblasting machines, etc. These investments, in addition to obtaining ISO 9001 certification, then QS9000 up to IATF16949, have allowed the inclusion of customers in the automotive sector and pushed the growth of turnover significantly, as well as the number of people employed from a few units to the current 45 employees who work on three shifts for 5 days a week. Customer satisfaction and competitiveness on complex technical products to be produced represent the mission of the current Montirone, which has as its strong point the resolution of production problems by constantly improving the expected and perceived quality of the die-cast product.
Another strong point is the use of various aluminum alloys, even primary ones, which are very complex to print. This makes Montirone extremely versatile and attentive to satisfying the countless requests of the market.
